Introduction
An Addressable Fire Alarm System integrated into the E-house to enable early detection of fire and/or presence of combustible gas to protect the E-house.
A typical addressable fire alarm system will interface with the followings:
- Heat & Smoke Detectors
- Inergen System
- Fire and Gas System
- HVAC System
- Process Control System
- Emergency Shutdown System
Operational Description
The E-house is divided into four functional areas, typically:
- Switchgear Room & Raised Floor
- Transformer Room
- Emergency Switchgear Room & Raised Floor
- Battery Room & Raised Floor
Each area is controlled by its respective individual loop driver. This is an advantage because a single point of failure of any loop driver will not affect the functionality of detectors located in other area.
