Introduction
An Addressable Fire Alarm System integrated into the E-house to enable early detection of fire and/or presence of combustible gas to protect the E-house.

A typical addressable fire alarm system will interface with the followings:

  1. Heat & Smoke Detectors
  2. Inergen System
  3. Fire and Gas System
  4. HVAC System
  5. Process Control System
  6. Emergency Shutdown System

Operational Description
The E-house is divided into four functional areas, typically:

  1. Switchgear Room & Raised Floor
  2. Transformer Room
  3. Emergency Switchgear Room & Raised Floor
  4. Battery Room & Raised Floor

Each area is controlled by its respective individual loop driver. This is an advantage because a single point of failure of any loop driver will not affect the functionality of detectors located in other area.
